You should know though, that there are some things people do that inadvertently decrease their e-cig’s battery’s lifespan, practically eliminating the cost-saving benefit in the first place. Here are some tips you should try if you want to make your e-cigarette’s power to last longer.

Regular Use

If you own a phone (who doesn’t?), you are surely familiar with the fact that lithium ion batteries need constant, daily use, otherwise it will easily get worn down. Well, your e-cig battery runs on the same type of battery, so you should use it whenever you can and keep from stashing it away for long periods before reuse.

Disconnect Cartomizer

The e-cig’s cartomizer contains the e-liquid and heating component, and when it’s connected to your battery, will constantly be draining power. Indeed, you don’t have to be actively using your cig for the power drain to happen, so when you’re not using it, just disconnect the battery from the cartomizer.

Unscrew after Charging

Never overcharge your battery, as this could mess up with the device’s function and severely decrease its lifespan. So whenever the battery has finished charging, disconnect it immediately. The exception for this is during the battery’s first charge, as you need to leave it connected for about another hour or so after charging.
